A Profile of our Journey with Christ
February 2022
OVERVIEW
“Dream Abundantly” ~Bishop Douglas J. Fisher, Diocese of Western Massachusetts
As we continually seek to know, love and follow Jesus, we are looking for a Priest to partner with us as we enter this next phase of our journey. We are enthusiastic about exploring ideas together that can make continued growth exciting and rewarding.

“We Strive to be Open In Spirit” ~St. Paul’s Mission Statement
1. Being a part of this church community:
● St. Paul’s has been blessed as an open and affirming congregation. We are known
as a place that opens its doors to those in the community
no matter where they are from or no matter where they
are in their life journey. This can take the form of anything from veterans who come for lunch to residents of
sober houses regularly sitting under our trees for a moment of quiet and enjoying the flower garden. We also
welcome families who rent our auditorium for Quinceaneras, anniversaries, and other celebrations.
● An area of ministry that has been a challenge with
COVID has been continuing our ministry with children
and young families.
2. Being connected:
● This includes individual spiritual practices that center us to “Be still and know that I
am God”. Several parishioners use prayer, meditation, and yoga as a way of centering and tapping into our spiritual core. Some find this same experience in groups
for bible study and others through their daily interactions with other people (bringing
meals and staying to chat, sending cards, making calls, listening when no one else
will). There are so many ways that St. Paul’s expresses their open spirit beyond
corporal prayer and worship on Sunday mornings.
