Q&A on KIDS CHURCH
What is Kids Church?
Kids Church is a free church-run program that helps children grow and develop their faith in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. The children will have a topic of the day, such as Jesus’ teaching. There will be activities, games, and songs to help them learn and retain the material.
What are the age requirements?
5-17 years old. The children will be separated by age groups.
Will my child be provided with a snack?
Yes, all children will be provided with a snack and juice/water.
What if my child has a food allergy?
If your child has food allergies, you will have the opportunity to note this on their registration card.
Can I stay in the classroom with my child?
Parents are allowed to observe in the classrooms at the beginning of class, but only approved Ministry Volunteers may stay. We encourage parents to take this time to complete any tasks they may have while their child is at Kids Church.
What should my child wear?
Kids are free to wear whatever clothing you deem acceptable.
Can I bring my child if they are sick?
Providing a safe and healthy environment for the children is a community commitment and effort. Please do not bring your child if they are sick.
How would I be contacted if I needed to be reached for some reason while my child is in class?
If you need to be reached, you will be called using the number you wrote down on your child’s registration form. The reasons for contacting the parents are as follows:
- Child is sick (fever, vomiting, etc.)
- Child is crying uncontrollably for an extended period.
- Child has an accident and needs parent’s assistance.

Your child’s photo/video will not be uploaded to St. Paul’s social media, website, or newsletter without parental consent. On the registration card to be completed by a parent or legal guardian, we ask if the Church is given permission.
Can I change my mind in the future if I wish not to permit my child’s photo/video to be uploaded?
Yes, you can change your mind at any time while your child is in the program. We will ask you to complete an addendum to the registration card.
